Spontaneous Wedding Cake

We were helping my cousin with her wedding preparations when she said she needed someone to decorate the cakes she baked. So there I was, not 24h before the wedding. She didn't bring all the ingredients for the frosting she wanted. There was nothing to put the cakes on and they wanted to incorporate electronics into the cake It was too cold for the buttercream (had to buy ingredients the next day) and nothing sticks to cheese cake. A little cake decorating nightmare - fitting for Halloween.
The brides idea was a path across all 3 cakes that leads to the bench with the street lamp where the couple got to know each other. The cakes were displayed in a big trunk. The lace is from the wedding dress.

In the end everything turned out ok. Bride and groom were happy and really appreciated the cake. I kept my sanity (and so did my dad who had to deal with electronics of the street lamp). Thanks to Cake Boss I knew how to wire a cake in theory.

It's a red velvet cheese cake with whipped cream and cream cheese buttercream frosting. The path is made of blueberries.
