Mosaic cake
This cake was all about speed. I had about half a day to put it all together. No time for experiments with the cake: chocolate cake with orange filling (from the Datacron cake). I made all the parts in advance. This is also my first two tier cake. A cute little cake: the little squares are 1cmx1cm. The cake's theme is a mediterranean feeling - warmth and sunshine.
It's amazing how my cake decorating skills changed in one year. Compare this cake to the one for my grandma's 91st.
